I recently joined Foster, a company building collaborative writing technology around an amazing community of writers.
The story so far
I was happily working on an array of consulting and personal projects, when I was introduced to Dan Hunt. This happened through a friend of a friend of a friend. The chain is pretty long and confusing at this point, but it worked out.
I told Dan I loved the idea, but wanted to work on something useful to the world, not just some tech company to make money from Enterprise Customers™. There's nothing inherently wrong with big companies, it's just boring. Dan excitedly told me we were on the same page, and we met in NYC 5 days later to kick things off.
It's early, but I'm having fun and doing work I'm proud of.
